Senior Marketing Manager B2B LATAM (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

  • You lead the Marketing agenda and are responsible for the development and implementation of two product category portfolio across the GMDC Region (approximately 50 countries located in 5 sub-regions: Europe, Middle East, Americas, APAC and Africa).
  • You generate consumer insight across the regions via market research, close contact to sales team and local distributors and visits to the countries. Based on the data analytics you give clear recommendation on how to best position our branded products to serve consumers in the respective countries.
  • You are responsible for one of the sub-regions, being the expert from marketing for the region and supporting the strategy for profitable growth.
  • You will ensure category gross margin targets are met by monitoring costs and pricing as well as recommending needed changes.
  • Together with the marketing director you lead the communication strategy and commercialization for the assigned category portfolio and will be directly leading local media agencies for best implementation of media support (TV, digital, social) in selected countries.
  • You recommend go-to-market trade/shopper marketing elements including product assortment, pricing, and merchandising (both, in-store and online) and will present it to sales team and local distributors.
  • You will be responsible for data tracking and analysis, article data management, product presentations and training activities for your respective product categories.


Qualifications:

  • You hold a Master of Business Administration or equivalent university degree.
  • We expect you to have min. 5 years of professional experience in Marketing, preferable in an international company of the FMCG industry.
  • Working experience in Latin America and/or Middle East would be highly beneficial.
  • You are experienced in product management, digital marketing and media management.
  • You have proven project management skills and you also bring first leadership experience.
  • A strong understanding of P&L as well as Budget Management are mandatory.
  • Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of Nielsen and data analysis in general are necessary.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills make you feel comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.
  • You are open-minded, proactive, self-motivated and target oriented, in addition you have a hands-on mentality.
  • You like to work with people from different cultures and like to travel in general.
  • As you collaborate with international teams, your English needs to be excellent (written & spoken).
  • Very good Spanish or Portuguese language skills are beneficial.
