Account Manager Germany (NL-based/Home Office) – f/m/d


We are conquering the market for sustainable detergents, cleaning products and personal care. Our mission? “Feel Good Cleaning!” Our company produces and sells sustainable products. We started in 2016 and our products are now available in about 5,000 Western European stores. Enthusiastic consumers, bloggers and also buyers think our sustainable cleaning products are fantastic and that ensures a solid growth of our company. Every year we sell many millions of products. And that’s why we’re looking for a new Soapstar! The ideal candidate likes to come up with good and quick solutions for all kinds of challenges you encounter at a scale-up. You are also not afraid to roll up your sleeves to arrange it right away. We call that not talking, but cleaning or freely translated put your money where your mouth is (famous Dutch saying we’ll explain when we meet)! We are still a small crew so your work varies from very strategic to very practical. Due to the size of the company, you can make a difference every day and immediately see the results.
Our products are made in 8 different factories, mostly in the Netherlands. We have a super cool office in an old domestic science school in the center of Haarlem. In your case your home is your office most of the time but you travel to HQ two days a month. Our team of soap stars works every day with great energy on further growth.

What you will do
As an energetic Accountmanager Germany, you are responsible to further develop and open customers for the German speaking market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). We see four segments to focus on: food/retail – drugstores – wholesale -other (Gardening and home improvement stores etc.). You know the parties where our product can be put on the shelf. With your enthusiasm you know how to get existing customers to create more volume and you generate extra turnover at new retailers that include our brands in the range. You are a self-starter, someone who seeks and finds opportunities on their own instead of waiting for what to do. You live for results and you help us to further growth in the German speaking region. Through tight internal and external communication we work with sound plans in which substantial investments are always accompanied by substantial growth in turnover. A good plan always has a solid numerical basis. Within the compact team, people easily take over things from each other, so switching in this way is a daily occurrence.

What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate likes to come up with good and fast solutions for all kinds of challenges that you encounter in a fast-growing company. And you are also not afraid to roll up your sleeves to arrange it right away. We are still a small club so your work varies from very strategic to very practical. You are someone who enjoys a varied job, who is happy with chaos but who likes to add structure. You live in Germany and have several years of experience in FMCG. You are driven by results, but you also want to sell a meaningful product. Due to the size of the company, you can make a difference every day and immediately see the results. You have a good understanding of Excel so that you can always substantiate your proposals with good figures.

Must haves:
• Experience: Min 3 years experience as accountmanager and/or trade marketing, preferably drug chain, discounter, LEH etc.
• Language: Native German
• Good knowledge of excel, trade marketing
• Good sales knowledge and uderstanding of reatil practice
• Experience with making annual account plans year-end talks and managing pricing
• Good understanding of trade marketing
