Senior Brand Manager Health/Pharma/FMCG (f/m/d) – Area London (UK) – ongoing search

Responsibilities

  • You’ll own the brand P&L and be responsible for achievement of financial targets. Measurement is against NR, GM and PC.
  • Achievement of defined Nielsen objectives: Market share, penetration / loyalty/ and frequency etc, as relevant.
  • You can translate brand values to shopper experience through shopper insights, develop joint promotions, point of sales material and tailor made packaging.
  • Delivery of NPD projects on time.
  • You are passionate about the development of others and will be responsible for the development of the Assistant Brand Manager/Graduate Trainee to Brand Manager level.
  • Annually put in place at least 2 new concept/new initiative testing plots to build the business in the long term.

Qualifications

  • Educated to a high standard, with successful marketing experience gained in FMCG, OTC or retail, we want someone who has the hunger and desire to take our business to the next level
  • Exposure to managing TV advertised brands
  • Action-oriented and energetic, with a focused and pragmatic approach to problem
  • Solving and driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation.
  • Ambitious and motivated to take on responsibility in an organisation that provides a high level of autonomy and individual responsibility.
  • Leadership and management skills, capable of developing Assistant Brand Manager/Graduate Trainee to Brand Manager level
  • Strong interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing and customers and internal teams
  • You’ll demonstrate financial and commercial acumen when identifying business issues/opportunities
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues
  • An interest and passion for entrepreneurship is critical. We want you to think outside the box
  • Fluent in English with at least one other language preferred;
  • ability to relocate internationally
